Camp Bestival 2010
Camp Bestival – Props to all!
What a massive event – the Freesports Park was so popular, we had to reinforce the barriers on Saturday to avoid a crowd invasion! Click THIS for video highlights
Our greatest thanks to all below – please check out all links for props and products
The EZO crew put on some sick displays over the big kicker; backflips, front flips, huuuuge Supermans. Check their comedy blog and Facebook gallery here
ATC productions‘ World Mountainboard Champion Tom Kirkman is a veteran of the ramp – he pulled the main kicker back to open up the gap before throwing down some MASSIVE flips and spins. Thanks to Paul Taylor – the most talented paparazzi in Freesports – pics here
The LocoSkates.com demo team came along to session the mega-ramp and show the camp Bestival-ers what aggressive inline skating is all about and show off the new Loco Valo Skates. Sam Tuffnell showed us all exactly why he is the Rollerblading superstar he is by lacing the massive gap over the back barrier landing 15-20 below on the flatbank on the other side.
Thanks to Jamie Stenner of ESP and Matt King of Starlight Express also came out to play.
Inspired by the incredible demos by Train Hard and our climbing team, the Parkour and Bouldering ‘hav-a-go’ sessions were full capacity non-stop. We had to limit it to booked sessions only due to overwhelming numbers of people queuing (sorry to anyone who missed out – keep an eye on the blog for the next Freesports Park event).
Massive thanks to Tom Peckitt and sponsors Evolv for the shoes and Core climbing for the holds and the Train Hard Parkour team. Check out their Facebook vid here
Thanks to the Slackline guys – Kim Christmas, William Sharpe, Emily Everitt, Gemma Bass-Williams and Adam Reynolds – this was way popular with the kids and adults. You guys are onto a winner. Get that website online and we’ll give you a shout out.
For the thumping tunes that had the riders pumped and the crowd jumping, thanks to DJ’s Neill Roberts, Brett Lawrence,Darren Farrow. They would also like to say a thank you to Becky Northcott who came down with them and kept them out of too much trouble!
We just have to thank everyone involved and check out their blogs, websites and facebook pages to read the full write ups of the event.
Last but not least, thanks to the Sunday Best team and Mr Rob da Bank for organising the world’s best festival’s and dropping a blinding set at the silent disco on Saturday night in the Big Top tent.
